Amcor is seeking a Process Engineer to lead mold sampling/qualification services and optimize molding processes for new and existing products. You will collaborate with plant technical roles to support startups, validation, and tooling improvements while driving standardization and best practices across facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence and negotiate with customers.
• Experience leading resources and driving process improvements in manufacturing.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Five years' experience in plastics packaging processing is desired.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mold samplings and qualification services for new/rebuilt tools.
• Optimize molding processes to meet dimensional limits and cycle times.
• Create and maintain Master Process Sheets for injection or blow molding.
• Lead plant training on machine operation, process control, and tool design changes.
• Partner with quality teams to improve processes and support new product launches.
• Provide technical liaison between operations and customers to determine system requirements.
