Job summary

You will serve as a key liaison between carriers, drivers, customers, and internal teams, tracking shipments, updating records in the TMS, and resolving issues before they affect service. This role rewards ownership, organization, and proactive communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in logistics or dispatch preferred.
• Experience with freight brokerage or 3PL is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable communicating by phone, email, and using a TMS daily.
• Proficiency with MS Office or Google Workspace helpful.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of customer shipments from booking through final delivery.
• Monitor active loads and ensure shipments progress as planned.
• Perform check calls and use tracking tools to maintain shipments status.
• Confirm pickups, deliveries, and appointment times.
• Maintain load notes in the Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Ensure carriers and drivers have necessary information to complete shipments.
• Coordinate with internal teams to maintain continuity on shipments outside your hours.
