Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or related field.
• Minimum of two years in transportation, logistics, or related operations.
• Working knowledge of transportation operations, carrier processes, freight terminology, and freight documentation.

Responsibilities

• Schedule shipments to meet customer delivery requirements and facility shipping schedules.
• Assign shipments to approved carriers using routing guides and procedures.
• Monitor shipments from pickup to delivery and maintain status records.
• Escalate carrier service failures and transportation exceptions to the National Freight Manager.
• Communicate shipment schedules and status to internal stakeholders and customers.
