Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in transportation, logistics or related fields.
• Minimum two years in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or related operations.
• Working knowledge of transportation operations, carrier processes, freight terminology and documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/TMS systems; Oracle/JDE experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule shipments to meet delivery requirements and facility shipping schedules.
• Assign shipments to approved carriers using routing guides and procedures.
• Monitor shipments from pickup to delivery and maintain records.
• Escalate service failures and transportation exceptions to the National Freight Manager.
• Communicate status and exceptions to internal teams and customers.
• Follow documented procedures and maintain accurate transportation records.
