Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to safeguard the hotel's mechanical and electrical systems, perform preventative maintenance, and uphold the property’s physical plant, FF&E, grounds, and pool.

The role operates in a 24/7 environment with flexible shifts, requiring strong safety adherence and the ability to respond to maintenance requests promptly. A high school diploma and hands-on trades experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience in hotel maintenance.
• Ability to work 24/7 shifts and varying hours.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs hotel mechanical and electrical systems (HVAC, plumbing, etc.).
• Performs preventative maintenance on a schedule (room care).
• Maintains pool operations and chemical levels; logs maintenance requests.
• Keeps building exterior and grounds in good condition (lawn care, painting, landscaping).
• Follows safety procedures and reports hazards to supervisor.
• Assists other Engineering personnel as needed.
