Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and repair hotel mechanical and electrical systems and oversee routine upkeep of the property and grounds. You will perform preventative maintenance, handle repairs across HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry areas, and ensure safety protocols are followed in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• The hotel maintains HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems and requires basic mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to recognize safety hazards and follow hotel policies and safety rules.
• Strong trouble-shooting skills for routine mechanical/electrical issues.
• Willingness to comply with grooming and appearance standards and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical or electrical systems across the property (HVAC, plumbing, etc.).
• Performs preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis (e.g., room care).
• Maintains exterior areas; handles lawn care and minor painting/landscaping tasks.
• Follows safety procedures and uses protective equipment as required.
• Reports hazards, accidents, or damage to supervisor; contributes to a safe work environment.
