Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management seeks a skilled maintenance professional to manage preventative maintenance and repair of hotel mechanical/electrical systems and related facilities. You will help ensure guest comfort and operational efficiency across the property, including HVAC, plumbing, pool care, and grounds.

The role requires ability to troubleshoot, follow safety procedures, and perform tasks in a fast-paced hotel environment. Training and cooperation with other team members are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.
• Ability to recognize safety hazards and security issues in the hotel.
• Willingness to comply with hotel policies, appearance, safety and security rules.
• Proficiency with HVAC, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, roofing, and landscaping.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions in mechanical or electrical systems throughout the hotel.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis.
• Maintains pool safety and chemical levels; completes maintenance logs.
• Cares for building exterior, grounds and curb appeal (lawn, painting, gardening).
• Follows safety, security, and emergency procedures; reports unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Assists other engineering personnel as needed.
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
