Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to service a hotel's mechanical and electrical systems, perform routine upkeep, and support the property’s physical plant and amenities.

The role requires knowledge across HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry, with a focus on safety and compliance in a 24/7 hotel environment. Strong teamwork and physical stamina are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.
• Ability to recognize safety hazards and follow procedures.
• Willingness to follow hotel policies, safety and security rules.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, carpentry, drywalling, painting, plumbing, roofing and landscaping.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions in mechanical or electrical systems.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a schedule basis.
• Maintains pool and chemical levels; logs maintenance requests.
• Maintains exterior grounds and curb appeal (lawn, painting, gardening).
• Follows safety, security and fire procedures; reports unsafe conditions.
