Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking an engineer to maintain and repair hotel mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and general facilities. You will perform preventative maintenance, service the pool, and upkeep the building exterior to keep curb appeal high.

The role requires knowledge of multiple trades, ability to troubleshoot, safety awareness, and flexible hours due to 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building maintenance trades including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical hotel systems.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and policies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shift work.
• High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical/electrical systems (HVAC, plumbing) throughout hotel.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a schedule.
• Maintains pool and chemicals, logs maintenance requests.
• Cares for exterior grounds and curb appeal.
• Assists other engineering staff as needed.
• Adheres to safety and security procedures.
