Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and routine repairs on the hotel's mechanical and electrical systems, as well as general upkeep of the property, pool, grounds, and FF&E. The role supports safe, efficient operation 24/7, with varying shifts to meet guest needs.

Candidates should have knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related trades, plus the ability to follow safety and hotel policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of all maintenance trades including basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.
• Must identify safety hazards and adhere to security procedures.
• Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, roofing and landscaping.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions in mechanical or electrical systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing) throughout the hotel.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a schedule basis (e.g., room care).
• Maintains pool and related equipment including chemicals and filters; logs maintenance requests.
• Maintains building exterior and curb appeal (lawn care, painting, landscaping).
• Adheres to company policies and safety procedures.
