Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to handle preventive and repair work on the hotel’s mechanical and electrical systems, and to maintain the physical plant, FF&E, grounds, and pool.

The role requires troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and related systems, plus performing scheduled maintenance and ensuring safety compliance with company policies. It is a 24/7 operation requiring flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.
• Ability to recognize safety hazards and follow hotel policies.
• Skilled in HVAC, electrical, carpentry, drywalling, painting, plumbing, roofing, and landscaping.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in mechanical or electrical systems throughout the hotel.
• Perform preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis.
• Service the hotel pool, adjust chemicals and clean filters; maintain logs.
• Maintain exterior and curb appeal of the building.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Assist other Engineering Personnel when needed.
