Job summary

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service through Lowe's policies and programs.
• Assists customers with locating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise while responding promptly to questions.
• Supports checkout, fulfillment, and customer assistance needs throughout the store.
• Pulls, stages, and prepares customer and contractor orders accurately and efficiently.
• Uses power equipment and store technology safely and effectively to move, stage, and load merchandise.
• Maintains in-stock conditions by down stocking and replenishing merchandise as needed.
• Supports large order fulfillment while maintaining product quality and accuracy.
• Collects carts and helps maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas inside the store and parking lot.
• Identifies and reports safety hazards, theft, and security concerns to management and/or Asset Protection.
• Operates store equipment as needed depending on one specific role and department.
• Communicates all stock, special order merchandise, product features, application, warranty, and Lowe's program information to customers, while responding knowledgeably to customer and employee questions and providing project guidance when needed.
• Follows all Lowe's safety policies and procedures, including proper use of power equipment, spotters and safety devices.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• Pro-specific: serves as a visible extension of the Pro Desk, engage Pro customers, assist with loading and order fulfillment, support Pro standards and training.
• Garden Center-specific: assist customers in loading products, support loading area, complete training, load orders, ensure orders are staged for pickup.
