Job summary

Savista is seeking a Pro Fee Coder to review clinical documentation and assign ICD-10/CPT/HCPCS codes for hospital and clinic settings. You will validate APC calculations and ensure accurate billing data while maintaining confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

The role involves abstracting clinical data, interacting with client staff, and staying current with ICD-10/CPT guidelines and coding standards. Strong credentialing is required.

Qualifications

• Active AHIMA or AAPC credential (RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CCA or CPC/H).
• Two years of recent coding experience.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS and related coding guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Select and sequence ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes for designated patient types.
• Review facility records to ensure APC/E&M codes reflect diagnoses/procedures.
• Abstract clinical data to support diagnoses and disposition.
• Maintain patient and provider confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Participate in client and Savista trainings and meetings.
