Job summary

Savista is seeking a Pro Fee Coder to review clinical documentation and assign ICD-10/CPT/HCPCS codes for hospital and physician data retrieval, ensuring accurate billing/ reimbursement. You will interact with client staff, maintain HIPAA compliance, and stay current with ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS guidelines.

A credential such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCA, COC or CPC is required, with at least two years of hands-on coding experience.

Qualifications

• Active AHIMA or AAPC credential required.
• Two years of recent coding experience.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes.
• Ability to maintain 95% coding quality.
• Proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Select and sequence ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes for designated patient types.
• Review facility records to ensure accurate APC and E/M coding.
• Abstract clinical data to support diagnoses, procedures and discharge disposition.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Collaborate with client staff and Savista teams.
