Savista is actively seeking a Pro Fee Coder to review clinical documentation and assign diagnostic and procedural codes for hospital and physician billing. You will ensure accurate coding for APC, E/M, and related procedures, while maintaining patient confidentiality and supporting regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates hold AHIMA or AAPC credentials, have at least two years of coding experience, and are proficient with MS Office. Experience with EPIC is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment skills assessment.
• Active AHIMA or AAPC credential required (RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CCA/COC/CCS-P/CPC or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent coding experience.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, and regulatory guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Select and sequence ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes for various patient types.
• Review facility records to ensure accurate APC assignments and E/M codes.
• Abstract data from records to support diagnoses and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA; interact with client staff as needed.
• Stay current with coding guidelines and participate in continuing education.
