Job summary

Savista, LLC is recruiting a Pro Fee Coder to review clinical documentation and assign ICD-10/CPT/HCPCS codes for hospital and clinic encounters, ensuring accurate billing and regulatory compliance. The role requires knowledge of coding guidelines, data integrity, and strong attention to confidentiality.

The ideal candidate will have two years of hands-on coding experience, AHIMA or AAPC credentials, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

Candidate must pass pre-employment skills assessment.
Active AHIMA or AAPC credential is required.
Two years of recent coding experience.
Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS coding sets.
Ability to code accurately while meeting quality standards.
Proficient in MS Office and data entry.

Responsibilities

Select and sequence ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes for designated patient types.
Review facility records to ensure accurate APC assignments and E/M codes.
Abstract clinical data to support diagnoses, procedures and discharge disposition.
Complete assigned work functions using appropriate resources.
Serve as a resource for data integrity and provider queries.
Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
Participate in client/Savista meetings and training sessions.
Maintain knowledge of coding guidelines and third-party requirements.
Engage in continuing education to keep credentials current.
