Job summary

Atlas Healthcare Partners is seeking a PRN RN for its Float Pool, covering shifts at multiple Phoenix-area outpatient surgery centers. This role requires travel between facilities with a minimum commitment of 4 shifts per month, Monday through Friday, with no weekend or on-call duties.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring compliance with nursing standards and organizational policies. Strong PreOp/PACU experience and current licensure are essential.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice (or compact licensure).
• BLS and ACLS required.
• PALS certification required within 90 days if Pediatrics is assigned.
• Minimum one-year RN experience in PreOp/PACU (FT/PT).

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan care across physical, psychological, and social domains.
• Implement and evaluate nursing care per physician orders and policy.
• Document assessments and outcomes accurately in the chart.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team and communicate patient status clearly.
• Support continuous improvement of nursing quality indicators and patient care.
• Provide mentoring and leadership as needed within the unit.
