Job summary

Canon Business Process Services in Los Angeles is seeking a Print Operator to handle client print needs, follow production processes, and operate copy/print equipment for quality finished products. You will troubleshoot copiers and printers and support daily center operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–5 years experience in a print center.
• Familiar with reproduction equipment operations.
• Knowledge of operation of low to high volume duplicating equipment.
• Ability to follow directions and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review, prioritize and submit print requests according to complexity and urgency.
• Deliver print jobs within established timeframes and maintain service logs.
• Perform minor maintenance and troubleshoot copying and printing equipment.
• Take meter readings and monitor inventory of print supplies and toner.
• Inform clients of completion times and resolve delays to client satisfaction.
• Open/close print center and keep area neat and professional.
• Adjust image quality and manage folders/directories for print-on-demand orders.
• Prepare monthly production and volume reports for productivity and billing.
