Job summary

Canon Business Process Services, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Print Operator to deliver high-quality print output and professional finishing services.

You will follow production processes, operate printing and finishing equipment, and provide basic troubleshooting for copiers and printers while maintaining client-focused service. You will review requests, prioritize work, track prints, and help keep the print center organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-5 years experience working directly in a print center.
• Familiarity with print center operations and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Review, prioritize and submit print requests from various sources according to complexity and urgency.
• Deliver print jobs within established timeframes; maintain logs of all work submitted and completed.
• Perform minor maintenance on reproduction equipment and solve paper jams.
• Take daily meter readings and monitor print supplies and stock.
• Inform clients of estimated completion times and resolve complaints to client satisfaction.
• Assist in opening/closing print center and keep the area neat and professional.
• Adjust image quality and organize files for special print requests; create folders for on-demand orders.
• Prepare monthly production and volume reports to measure productivity and billing.
