Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a Production Support Engineer (PMTS) to join the embedded reliability team.

You will be a senior technical member, owning reliability, performance tuning, and infrastructure automation as part of a scalable, enterprise-grade platform. You’ll collaborate with senior engineers, influence architectural decisions, and apply AI tools to automate operations while delivering measurable outcomes for a world-class AI-powered supply chain platform.

Qualifications

9+ years of experience in SRE, Production Engineering, or Backend Engineering.
Proven scaling experience in a high-growth phase (1 to 100).
Effective communicator with cross-stakeholder responsibilities.
Proficiency in production-grade code in Golang, TypeScript, or Python.
Strong proficiency in Kubernetes, Terraform/OpenTofu, and AWS/GCP/Azure.
Observability experience with SLO-based monitoring and alerting.
Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices.

Responsibilities

Own the reliability roadmap for major product areas and drive global-scale reliability.
Provide technical leadership as a Principal-level staff member guiding strategy.
Mentor LMTS/SMTS through formal/informal mentorship and setting high technical standards.
Maintain and evolve infrastructure as code for robust, developer-friendly environments.
Support AI Operations (AIOps) and scale AI/ML infra with GPU resources and data pipelines.
Lead production excellence by building tooling and telemetry to prevent incidents.
