Job summary

PagerDuty, Inc. seeks a Principal Solutions Consultant to lead strategic outreach across the US, bridging Sales, Product, and Engineering. You will evangelize the PagerDuty Operations Cloud, mentor technical sales teams, and advise C-suite leadership on AI in operations and cloud migration.

You will collaborate with CTOs/CIOs and lead architectural discussions, shaping high-impact enterprise opportunities while representing PagerDuty at events and in thought leadership content.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in technical leadership, solutions architecture, or product management within SaaS, DevOps, or Cloud infrastructure.
• Proven track record influencing C-level executives at Fortune 500 or equivalent global enterprises.
• Proven ability to support and influence sales cycles with a solid grasp of sales processes and customer buying journeys.
• Deep domain expertise in at least three: Incident Management, SRE, AIOps, Cloud Native Architectures, ITSM/ITIL, or Cybersecurity Incident Response.
• Exceptional public speaking and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel across the US and occasionally overseas.

Responsibilities

• Act as peer/advisor to customer CTOs and CIOs, helping them navigate digital transformations and operationalize PagerDuty's Operations Cloud.
• Represent PagerDuty as a thought leader at industry events and in digital content.
• Partner with Global Product and Engineering leadership to ensure US market needs are represented in the roadmap.
• Provide architectural oversight and executive presence for complex enterprise opportunities in the US.
• Foster a local DevOps/SRE community, sharing best practices on operational excellence and AI ethics in operations.
• Stay ahead of market shifts and technical trends PagerDuty can capitalize on.
