PagerDuty, Inc. seeks a Solutions Consultant to join our team. You will bridge pre-sales, sales, and customer success, understand customer environments, identify roadblocks, and design integrations that leverage PagerDuty’s AI-first platform.

You’ll guide technical discovery, respond to RFPs, and articulate PagerDuty’s value to both DevOps engineers and executives. The role requires 5+ years in pre-sales, a technical degree, scripting basics, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pre-sales experience.
• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in a technical field.
• Ability to do basic scripting and fundamental knowledge of Linux.
• Experience selling SaaS in a competitive environment.
• Strong communication to build and manage client relationships.
• Demonstrable knowledge of IT monitoring tools or IT Operations.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential roadblocks and design thoughtful technical solutions.
• Conduct technical discovery to understand customer environments.
• Design integrations with the customer's tech stack for seamless deployment.
• Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires with technical guidance.
• Explain PagerDuty's value to stakeholders from DevOps to C-level executives.
• Support sales cycles by addressing technical questions.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and cross-functional teams to drive growth and customer success.
• Manage multiple tasks independently and with teams, maintaining attention to detail.
