Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a Principal Sales Engineer to drive new customer opportunities and integrate the AI‑powered data security platform into enterprise environments. You will partner with Account Executives to win complex, strategic deals and engage C‑level executives to position Cohesity as cyber resilience infrastructure.

You will lead technical strategy, deliver high‑impact engagements, and support deployments across on‑prem, hybrid, and multi‑cloud environments while traveling as required.

Qualifications

• Proven enterprise pre‑sales success supporting infrastructure, data protection, security, or cloud platforms.
• Experience selling or implementing cybersecurity, data protection, backup, storage, or cyber recovery solutions in multi‑cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of data security architectures, ransomware resilience and competitive landscape.

Responsibilities

• Articulate Cohesity Data Cloud portfolio to executives and technical audiences.
• Co‑own enterprise technical strategy with Account Executive through deals lifecycle.
• Lead technical discovery to uncover risk, displacement opportunities and expansion paths.
• Architect and defend differentiated solutions for ransomware recovery, cyber vaulting, and DR.
• Deliver demos, workshops, proposals, white papers, and PoCs across on‑prem, hybrid, and multi‑cloud.
• Drive partner and channel co‑sell motions and engage at the C‑level.
