Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a highly technical enterprise architect to define target-state architecture for customer communications across CVS Health businesses. You will craft platform roadmaps, design integrations and data flows, and work with engineering to enable scalable, compliant messaging platforms across Adobe, Salesforce and other enterprise tools.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technology experience in enterprise/solution architecture roles.
• Experience architecting large-scale software platforms with cloud infra, APIs, and data flows.
• Hands-on architecture across customer communications and marketing tech domains.
• Experience with Salesforce, Adobe Experience Cloud, and related platforms.
• Strong integration pattern knowledge: REST APIs, event-driven, messaging, JSON.

Responsibilities

• Define target-state architecture and multi-year roadmap for CVS Health's customer communications ecosystem.
• Architect scalable platforms across customer communications, campaign/workflows, data, consent, and archival.
• Guide modernization around Adobe, Salesforce and other strategic platforms.
• Design API-led, event-driven integrations linking platforms with enterprise data and apps.
• Translate business capabilities into implementable technical designs and data models.
• Architect outbound channels: email, SMS, RCS, push notifications and emerging channels.
• Embed consent, preferences, regulatory controls, and message archival requirements.
• Design high-volume data flows and identity relationships to support enterprise communications.
• Guide governance, standards, and architecture reviews; support cost and security considerations.
• Engage executives with architectural trade-offs and investment options.
