The Atlantic District is seeking a Principal Elite Agent to lead a Farmers insurance agency in Virginia Beach, driving growth, operations, and client service. You will mentor agents, build a profitable book of business, and maintain strong carrier partnerships.

This leadership role emphasizes strategic planning, risk assessment, and community engagement to protect clients and grow the office within the Hampton Roads area.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses in Virginia required.
• Minimum of five years of experience in high-level insurance sales or brokerage management.
• Advanced understanding of commercial risk management and complex policy structures.
• Strong track record of building and managing a sustainable, profitable book of business.
• Proficiency in modern agency management systems and digital lead tracking software.
• Deep roots or established professional connections within the Virginia Beach business community.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to expand our presence across the Hampton Roads area.
• Consult with high-net-worth individuals and business owners to design comprehensive coverage solutions.
• Mentor junior agents to foster a culture of expertise and high performance within the office.
• Maintain strong relationships with underwriters and carriers to ensure we provide the best possible value to our clients.
• Analyze current market trends to identify new opportunities for growth and coverage improvement.
• Represent The Atlantic District at community events and local professional gatherings.
