The Atlantic District in Chesapeake, VA seeks a Principal Agent to run a Farmers agency, leading growth, operations, and client service. You will anchor the local sales team, build your own client base, and embody the community-facing face of the agency.

We offer a base salary with commission and bonus opportunities, plus a comprehensive benefits package. You will collaborate with a supportive team focused on growth, integrity, and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Virginia Property and Casualty license.
• Virginia Life and Health license.
• Three or more years of successful insurance sales experience.
• Strong track record of relationship building and local networking.
• Proficiency with standard office software and agency management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead local sales efforts by identifying and connecting with potential clients in the community.
• Assess the needs of families and businesses to provide comprehensive coverage solutions.
• Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and follow up on inquiries with warmth and professionalism.
