Job summary
RTX is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer – Production Hardware in Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on driving program execution, cost, schedule and technical oversight across the product lifecycle for airborne electrical products.
You will lead production hardware efforts and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery. Candidates should have a strong background in RF/analog/digital design, hands-on testing, and the ability to work on 1st shift.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with strong engineering foundations.
- Experience with RF, analog, digital or mixed-signal design and analysis.
- Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
- Experience leading technical projects and investigations.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for production hardware development and sustainment.
- Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and other engineering teams to resolve issues.
- Travel less than 10% annually; support 1st shift operations.
