Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer – Production Hardware for its Tucson, AZ site. The role focuses on driving program execution, cost, schedule, and technical oversight across the lifecycle of airborne electrical products.

Strong DoD clearance, leadership, and hands-on testing are key to success. Responsibilities include collaboration across functions, troubleshooting, and ensuring production readiness with a 1st shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field and 8+ years of experience.
• Experience with RF/analog/digital/mixed-signal design or analysis and DSP.
• Familiar with laboratory equipment: waveform generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum/network analyzers.
• Experience leading technical projects, investigations or issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Enhance electrical engineering skills across digital, analog, RF hardware and debugging complex assemblies.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and other engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Travel <10% annually; 1st shift responsibilities and coordination with production.
