Job summary

RTX’s ALEGS Department is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer – Production Hardware in Tucson, AZ to lead program execution spanning cost, schedule, and technical oversight across the product lifecycle.

You will work with multi‑discipline teams, drive hardware testing, and oversee development and sustainment of airborne electrical systems, while maintaining a balance between deliverables and life-work balance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering experience in defense/electrical domains.
• Experience with RF/analog/digital/mixed-signal design and/or DSP.

Responsibilities

• Enhance electrical engineering skills across digital, analog, RF hardware testing and debugging of complex assemblies.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve production issues.
• Travel less than 10% annually; operate on 1st shift.
