Job summary

RTX is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer – Production Hardware in Tucson, AZ to drive program execution across cost, schedule and technical oversight from development to sustainment of airborne electrical products.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and hands-on experience with RF, analog and digital hardware, circuit design and test, along with collaboration across Operations, Supply Chain and Quality to ensure production readiness.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years’ prior relevant experience.
• Experience with RF, analog, digital, and / or mixed signal circuit design or analysis and / or DSP.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment including waveform generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and/or network analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Enhance electrical engineering skills working with digital, analog and RF hardware testing and debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro-mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve production issues.
• Travel less than 10% annually; 1st shift.
