Job summary

RTX’s Raytheon Tucson site is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer – Production Hardware to drive program execution across cost, schedule, and technical oversight from development through sustainment of airborne electrical products. The role requires leadership in multi-disciplinary teams and close collaboration with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain.

Onsite in Tucson, you will troubleshoot complex circuit card assemblies, mentor engineers, and ensure manufacturing readiness.

Qualifications

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years’ prior relevant experience.
Experience with RF, analog, digital, and / or mixed signal circuit design or analysis and / or digital signal processing.
Familiarity with laboratory equipment including waveform generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and/or network analyzers.
Experience with leading technical projects, failure investigations, or issue resolution efforts.

Responsibilities

Enhance electrical engineering skills working with digital, analog and/or RF hardware testing and debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro-mechanical systems.
Collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to achieve/document concurrence and resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration.
