Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer – Production Hardware in Tucson, AZ for hands-on design, testing, and production oversight of electrical systems. The role requires a DoD Secret clearance and U.S.

citizenship, with an onsite 1st shift schedule and occasional travel. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, oversee circuit design and production activities, and collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure cost, schedule, and technical performance align with program

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field and 8+ years of relevant experience.
Experience with RF, analog, digital, and / or mixed-signal circuit design or analysis and / or digital signal processing.
Familiarity with lab equipment including waveform generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and/or network analyzers.
Experience leading technical projects, failure investigations, or issue resolution efforts.

Responsibilities

Enhance electrical engineering skills working with digital, analog and RF hardware testing and debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro-mechanical systems.
Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to achieve concurrence and resolve issues during production, testing, and integration.
Travel requirements: less than 10% annually.
