Job summary

Raytheon (RTX) in Tucson, AZ seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer – Production Hardware to drive program execution across the full lifecycle, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical oversight. You will provide resources to support development and sustainment of airborne electrical products, collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a STEM field and 8+ years of experience, with hands-on design and testing of circuit cards, RF and analog/digital systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics or related STEM field.
• Experience with RF, analog, digital, and/or mixed-signal circuit design/analysis or DSP.
• Familiarity with lab equipment including waveform generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, or network analyzers.
• Experience leading technical projects, failure investigations, or issue-resolution efforts.

Responsibilities

• Enhance electrical engineering skills working with digital, analog and RF hardware testing and debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro‑mechanical systems.
• Coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to achieve/document concurrence and resolve issues during production, testing, and integration.
• Travel less than 10% annually; Shift: 1st shift.
