Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer – Production Hardware in Tucson, AZ. You will drive program execution, overseeing cost, schedule and technical aspects of airborne electrical products throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires leading cross-functional teams and delivering robust, validated hardware for production. The position emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, collaboration with multiple disciplines, and opportunities to gain RTX Core Certification and REA Training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field; 8+ years of experience.
• Experience with RF/analog/digital/mixed-signal design or DSP.
• Laboratory equipment familiarity: oscilloscopes, spectrum/network analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Design, troubleshoot, and debug RF/analog/digital/mixed-signal circuitry and systems.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and other engineering disciplines to resolve issues.
• Travel less than 10% annually; work on 1st shift.
