Job summary

RTX is seeking an expert controls systems engineer for the Precision Control Actuation System (PCAS) to support development, build, and verification of actuation systems. Roles may be staffed at Tucson, AZ or Huntsville, AL, with responsibilities spanning architecture development, advanced control laws, hardware testing, and performance analysis.

The position requires a STEM degree with 8+ years of related experience, or an Advanced Degree with 5+ years, and strong expertise in air vehicle

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 8+ years of experience, or anAdvanced Degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience in air vehicle or missile flight actuation control design and analysis.
• Familiarity with control architectures, requirements development, and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop flight actuation control system architectures and implement advanced control laws.
• Design and execute hardware test plans and analyze air performance simulations.
• Work autonomously with oversight, applying advanced control techniques and system modeling.
