Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to drive excellence in B2B strategy, solutions development, and opportunity closure across the Transportation/Distribution vertical. You will serve as a strategic SME, collaborating with cross-functional teams to accelerate growth of key products and solutions.

You will meet with key clients as an industry expert, lead the full solution lifecycle, and coordinate with sales teams to map accounts and drive opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four+ years of work experience.
• Six+ years of relevant sales experience.
• Product and partner management experience.
• Deep knowledge of Transportation/Distribution vertical, including business practices, trends, and partners.
• Executive presence and presentation skills.
• Travel up to 50% or more.

Responsibilities

• Develop vertical-based solution sales motions for Business Markets in Transportation/Distribution to drive sales of Fixed Wireless Access, OneTalk, Security, and Strategic Phones.
• Increase market penetration, account retention, and new account acquisition with cross-functional teams and educate sales on vertical details.
• Serve as vertical solution and strategy specialist and project & program lead for Business Markets segment.
• Identify, propose, deploy, and manage full solution lifecycle from pilot to adoption; guide partner strategy and RFx responses.
• Meet with key B2B clients as an industry expert to generate opportunities and position Verizon solutions to business pains.
• Coordinate account mapping with Sales teams, ask probing questions, and ensure documentation and timely follow-up to drive satisfaction.
