Job summary

The Atlantic District seeks a Principal Agent in Harrisonburg, VA to lead operations, growth, and client service. You will build relationships with residents and business owners, develop tailored insurance programs, and mentor a local sales team to deliver exceptional protection and community impact.

You will manage daily activities, align with regulatory standards, and drive a culture of excellence and care in a dynamic local agency environment.

Qualifications

• Virginia Property & Casualty Insurance License.
• Life & Health Insurance License.
• Proven track record in insurance sales or high-level account management.
• Strong knowledge of Harrisonburg insurance market.
• Experience managing a small team or mentoring peers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and lead sales strategies to expand local policyholder base.
• Cultivate and maintain meaningful relationships with residents and business owners throughout the Harrisonburg area.
• Develop custom insurance programs that address the specific risks and needs of our diverse local clientele.
• Provide ongoing mentorship and guidance to our junior sales staff to ensure professional growth.
• Analyze sales metrics and market trends to adjust our local outreach efforts for better impact.
• Ensure that all policy recommendations adhere to company quality standards and regulatory compliance.
