Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Primary Care Practice Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of a high-volume multi-provider practice. You will work with site leadership to foster outstanding patient care, staff development, and operational efficiency.

The role focuses on staff coaching, budgeting, performance reviews, and ensuring high standards of service and safety. Key responsibilities include budgeting, staff scheduling, payroll, and improving patient experiences.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or advanced degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated management skills.
• Two years of leadership experience in a physician office in a provider setting.
• Strong knowledge of electronic medical record systems.
• Strong overall computer skills.
• Knowledge of third party billing and coding requirements; ability to communicate with all levels of staff and providers.

Responsibilities

• Follow corporate and practice policies and procedures.
• Develop annual budgets with the Director and demonstrate cost effectiveness.
• Manage payroll procedures, time cards and timekeeping systems.
• Respond to patient inquiries and coordinate maintenance and cleaning of the practice.
• Supervise staff performance and conduct evaluations.
• Train new staff on department policies and procedures.
• Establish work schedules and assign staff; counsel and guide personnel as needed.
• Communicate with leadership to evaluate practice operations.
