Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an experienced Practice Administrator to oversee operations of free-standing centers or larger practices, focusing on growth and revenue expansion. This role reports to the COO and may supervise practice supervisors.

You will lead cross-functional teams, ensure patient access, align with quality and safety standards, manage budgets, and drive Lean and KPI initiatives. Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• 3–5 years of experience
• 3 years experience with proven leadership skills in any customer service organization

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in centers or practices of greater scope, complexity, or revenue.
• Builds relationships with physicians, providers, and staff to ensure physician/provider and employee satisfaction.
• Manages staff performance in a timely and effective manner through practice supervisors.
• Collaborates with the Core CMO and others to resolve physician/provider performance or behavioral issues.
• Responsible for implementing and completing position-based standard work, including Lean principles, huddles, dashboards, and other operational tools.
• Develops, advances, and maintains a culture of continuous quality improvement focused on KPIs and Lean methodologies.
• Manages access, patient volume, revenue, and controllable expenses to meet budget goals.
• Oversees insurance verification and eligibility processes to support revenue cycle performance.
