Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED with 2-3 years in Medical Assisting.
• MA certificate or related degree demonstrated by certification/education.
• Strong customer relations with patients, families, staff and providers.
• Willingness to train, mentor, and guide others in the practice.
• Experience with computer systems; EPIC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the office and resolve issues to improve patient access.
• Coordinate staff coverage and manage scheduling for providers and staff.
• Implement policies and procedures with Practice Manager/Director guidance.
• Provide training feedback and participate in staff performance discussions.
• Ensure maintenance of the office, ordering supplies, and monitor invoices.
• Participate in onboarding/offboarding of staff and Epic training logistics.
• Support revenue cycle activities and respond to patient billing inquiries.
• Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis for the practice.
• Lead or participate in staff meetings across MAPS and hospital groups.
