Job summary

HP is building a pipeline of skilled Presales Technical Consultants in the United States. The role involves engaging with customers to understand their business needs, designing tailored IT solutions, and presenting them as a trusted advisor.

You will support the sales team, drive PoCs, and help ensure successful adoption of HP solutions. Typical responsibilities include traveling to customer sites, collaborating with partners and account teams, and delivering compelling solution architectures

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 2-4 years of technical sales/Pre‑sales experience.
• Experience in technical solution development and Pre‑sales support.
• Strong IT infrastructure, networking, cloud computing, and cybersecurity knowledge.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
• Curiosity and ability to adopt emerging tools and AI to boost sales and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Understand customers' business needs and design tailored IT solutions.
• Present solutions as a trusted advisor and support sales teams through engagement.
• Travel to customer sites to drive HP brand preference and lead evaluations.
• Collaborate with customers, partners, and account teams to align solutions with goals.
• Design architectures aligned to customer goals and present them clearly.
• Conduct PoCs or pilots to demonstrate value in real environments.
• Provide training and support to sales teams on technical aspects.
• Respond to customer inquiries with prompt, accurate responses.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure solutions meet customer needs.
