Job summary

HP is seeking a presales technical consultant to engage with customers, understand their needs, design tailored IT solutions, and present them as a trusted advisor. The role leverages technical expertise to support the sales team through solution development, demonstrations, and PoCs across customer environments.

Travel to customer sites is expected regularly as you collaborate with sales, product management, engineering, and services teams to ensure solutions align with client goals and drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of technical sales experience in technical consulting or pre-sales.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud computing, and cybersecurity trends.

Responsibilities

• Build technical expertise within assigned solution areas.
• Deliver standard presentations and demonstrations.
• Support opportunity execution and technical validation activities.
• Develop customer-facing consulting and influence skills.
• Travel to customer sites regularly to drive HP brand preference and lead solution evaluations.
• Collaborate with customers, partners, and account teams to design tailored IT solutions that align with technical capabilities and business objectives.
