Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer- Network to work with Architects and account teams, guiding customers on network platforms and business-enabled technology. This remote role serves the Houston, TX area, collaborating with OEMs and partners to tailor infrastructure solutions.

The ideal candidate will have deep Cisco networking knowledge, 2+ years of experience, and relevant certifications, enabling effective technical selling and training across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Cisco networking products (switches, routers, wireless, Nexus, Meraki).
• Advanced certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, JNCIE, JNCIP, CASX, ACSP are a plus.
• Ability to travel to SHI, partner, and customer events.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to understand customer environments and network maturity.
• Educate sales teams on network solutions and technologies through training.
• Conduct product training and positioning for sales teams and customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with OEMs and strategic partners.
• Design and propose tailored infrastructure solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Engage CIOs, IT Directors, and CTOs for comprehensive account management.
