Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer- Network to partner with Architects and account teams, leading discussions on Network platforms and how technology enables business.

This remote role covers the St. Louis, MO territory with a Home Office setup as determined by SHI management. You will train sales teams, build tailored infrastructure solutions, and engage CIOs, IT Directors, and CTOs to drive opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of Cisco networking product experience (switches/routers/Nexus/Meraki) and CCW familiarity.
• Willingness to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events.
• Advanced certifications like CCIE, CCNP, JNCIE, JNCIP, CASX, ACSP are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to understand customer environments and evaluate network technologies.
• Educate and develop sales teams on network solution selling and key technologies.
• Design and propose infrastructure solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Build technical relationships with OEMs and partners and stay updated on product information.
• Act as a trusted IT advisor and manage the solution practice pipeline.
