Job summary

GuidePoint Security LLC seeks a DevSecOps Presales Solutions Engineer to collaborate with Account Executives and senior AppSec & AI leadership in driving new business in the Mid-Atlantic region, with a focus on Application Security (AppSec) and AI security.

This role supports technical qualification, positioning, and solutioning for AppSec and AI opportunities, partnering with practice leads to build credibility and close deals while growing expertise in secure SDLC, governance, and AI risk

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of presales or comparable client-facing technical experience.
• Foundational knowledge of Application Security and/or AI security concepts.
• Interest in AI/ML systems, governance, and regulatory considerations.
• Ability to translate complex technical content for business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to drive new business within the Mid-Atlantic region, focusing on AppSec and AI opportunities.
• Perform technical qualification, discovery, and positioning for presales opportunities.
• Articulate AppSec and AI risks, controls, and architectural tradeoffs to technical and security stakeholders.
• Learn new AppSec and AI technologies and articulate their value propositions.
• Participate in sales events and industry forums to raise awareness of GuidePoint's offerings.
