Job summary

Skanska is seeking an Assistant Preconstruction Manager to support leadership in producing accurate, timely preconstruction services across civil, structural, and envelope scopes. The role may lead day-to-day estimating under supervision or manage the preconstruction process for projects, developing cost estimates, narratives, and value options.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading preconstruction/estimating teams with multi-discipline cost oversight.
• 5+ years producing and reviewing detailed cost estimates using advanced estimating tools.
• 5+ years in risk management, contract review, and value management.
• 5+ years coordinating design, operations and business development with client exposure.
• Expertise in Value Management processes.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or equivalent; or 8 years of equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Support preconstruction leadership in delivering accurate, timely, cost‑effective estimates.
• Coordinate bid package development and post‑bid analysis with internal teams and clients.
