Job summary

Skanska is seeking a Preconstruction Manager - MEP to lead preconstruction efforts, produce and review MEP cost estimates, and coordinate with civil, structural and architectural disciplines. The role requires collaborating with design, operations and business development to optimize project outcomes.

You will guide the design process from pursuit through construction, ensure scope, cost, schedule and quality objectives are met, and act as a strong liaison with subcontractors and design partners

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading preconstruction/estimating or MEP teams.
• 5+ years producing and reviewing detailed cost estimates.
• 5+ years coordinating design, operations and business development; confidential work.
• 1+ year experience with Value Management processes.
• Bachelor’s Degree or 8 years equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preconstruction process and resources to deliver high-quality, cost-effective services.
• Produce and review detailed MEP cost estimates; coordinate civil, structural and architectural disciplines.
• Collaborate with design, operations and business development to optimize outcomes.
• Guide the design process from pursuit through construction; manage scope, cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Act as a liaison between Skanska, subcontractors and design teams; uphold confidentiality.
