Job summary

Skanska USA is seeking an Assistant Preconstruction Manager to lead and execute preconstruction efforts across multiple scopes, ensuring accurate estimates and timely deliverables. You will coordinate bid packages, analyze post-bid results, and contribute market intelligence to support risk management and value options.

The role requires 5+ years in leadership of preconstruction/estimating with proficiency in MS Office and strong client communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership of preconstruction/estimating teams with multi-discipline cost estimating oversight.
• 5+ years producing and reviewing detailed cost estimates using advanced estimating tools.
• 5+ years of experience with risk management, contract review, and value management.
• 5+ years coordinating design, operations, and business development; ability to present to clients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support Preconstruction leadership in producing accurate, timely, and cost-effective services.
• Develop concept and detailed estimates across civil, structural, interior, and envelope scopes.
• Prepare clear assumptions and scope narratives; propose value-management options.
• Coordinate bid package development and post-bid analysis.
• Present preconstruction deliverables internally and to clients; contribute market intelligence.
