Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. seeks a technically skilled pre-sales consultant to advise on networked printing devices and related software and services. The role involves supporting sales calls, customer trainings, and professional services deployment.

You will engage with IT staff as a technical advisor, collaborate on RFPs, and help manage large, complex projects across Windows, UNIX, and Mac environments. Extensive travel and a performance-based compensation plan are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 3 to 5 years of related experience.
• Relevant business experience relating to printing pre-sales/post-sales support in Large Format, office and production environments.
• Understanding of Color management tools and file formats (JPEG, TIFF, EPS, PDF).
• Extensive travel is required, up to 70% with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical advice to support securing sales of networked printing devices and related software/services.
• Support sales presentations, customer trainings, and professional services delivery.
• Participate in on-site customer visits, meetings, and surveys with IT staff as a technical advisor.
• Collaborate on RFP responses and provide project management support for complex solutions.
