Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking an experienced technical advisor to support the sale of networked printing devices and related software. You will assist in presentations, customer trainings, and delivery of professional services while traveling up to 70%.

The role involves collaborating on RFPs, providing installation and integration direction for advanced Color Solutions, and supporting post-sales 24/7 services. A BS or equivalent and 3–5 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 3 to 5 years of related experience.
Experience in printing pre-sales/post-sales support in Large Format, office and production environments.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and color composition tools; ability to handle Postscript/PDF files.
Travel up to 70% with overnight stays; valid driver’s license and insurance.
Color management proficiency and understanding of Windows, UNIX and Macintosh environments.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced technical advice in support of securing sales of networked printing devices and related software/servers and services.
Support sales presentations, customer trainings, and delivery of professional services.
Collaborate on RFP responses and provide project management support for large, complex solutions.
Assist in installation and integration of products and applications and generate professional services revenue.
